Bug#857750: unison-all should depend on previous versions

Package: unison-all
Version: 2.48+2
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Stretch and Jessie ship with incompatible Union versions (2.40/2.32 vs. 2.48),
making file sync impossible.

IMHO, Debian releases should provide at least one Unison version present in the
previous Debian release and unison-all should depend on this. This was the case
in Jessie which contained Unison versions also present in Wheezy. Syncing
between Jessie and Wheezy was possible.

Unfortunately, the Unison versions in Stretch are not available in Jessie
backports.

Cheers

Jan
