Thank you, I was not aware there was a new upstream! From the point of
view of Debian, the package was up-to-date (and somehow dead upstream).

I've started packaging the new version... It's in git. It compiles, but
it remains (at least):
 - not use -custom
 - not use network (some tests seem to use google.com)
 - update copyright file / Standards-Version
 - check that reverse-depends compile
