Package: edos-distcheck
Version: 1.4.2-8
Severity: normal

Hi,

Apparently, edos-builddebcheck (at least) doesn't handle having several
versions of the same package in the same Packages or Sources file (that
change was introduced at the end of 2009 by ftpmasters).

Example:
prelude-manager (= 1.0.0~rc1-1): FAILED
  prelude-manager (= 1.0.0~rc1-1) build-depends on one of:
  - libpreludedb-dev (= 1.0.0~rc1-1)
  libpreludedb-dev (= 1.0.0~rc1-1) depends on one of:
  - libpreludedb0 (= 1.0.0~rc1-1)
prelude-manager (= 0.9.15-4): FAILED
  prelude-manager (= 0.9.15-4) build-depends on one of:
  - libpreludedb-dev (= 1.0.0~rc1-1)
  libpreludedb-dev (= 1.0.0~rc1-1) depends on one of:
  - libpreludedb0 (= 1.0.0~rc1-1)

You probably only want to list the newer version.

Version: 3.2.2-2

Hello, edos-buildebcheck is now superseded by dose-builddebcheck which
provides the --latest version, as does dose-debcheck (even though it
is documented only in the manpage of the latter).

Cheers -Ralf.
