Bug#678595: libocamlgsl-ocaml-dev: GSL fitting functions crash with large arrays
Package: libocamlgsl-ocaml-dev
Version: 0.6.0-7+b2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream
Dear Maintainer,
When calling Gsl_multifit_nlin.make with 10000 observations and 121
parameters, the program crashes with a segmentation fault. I think this is due
to a stack overflow due to large local allocation in the gsl_fun.c callback
function definitions, and this appears to have been fixed in the upstream
source.
