Yes, I know libfindlib-ocaml installs META.graphics unconditionnally.

Quoting the aforementioned META.graphics file, it contains the line
"""
exists_if = "graphics.cma"
"""
My understanding is that ocamlfind only reports graphics as installed if
the file exists, which should only be the case when ocaml-base is
installed. This is the behaviour I can notice on my system.
Looking further, I tried installing the other packages containing a
graphics.cma file (mingw32-ocaml and liquidsoap-plugin-graphics), but
still failed to reproduce.
Do you have some graphics.cma installed anywhere that could confuse
ocamlfind?
