Package: unison Version: 2.32.52-1 Severity: normal I synced a (quite large, approx 140 GB) tree and later discovered that I (again) forgot to use the option "times = true". To avoid manually selection the direction I called the profile with "-force I<local-copy>" after insterting "times = true" in the profile. Unsion-gtk detects (all? - at least a lot) files to update the meta data and after starting the synchronisation works for some time, cause some load on the local machine. Instead of finishing as usual I get the crash (screenshot attached) and no change is done on the remote replica (as far as I can see). For a smaller tree (1,3 GB) this procedure worked (same local and remote machine). -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32.43-grsec Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE.UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages unison depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-10 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib Versions of packages unison recommends: ii openssh-client [ssh-client] 1:5.5p1-6 secure shell (SSH) client, for sec unison suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Dr. Helge Kreutzmann debian@helgefjell.de Dipl.-Phys. http://www.helgefjell.de/debian.php 64bit GNU powered gpg signed mail preferred Help keep free software "libre": http://www.ffii.de/
