I agree with this.

I am glad that OCaml packages receive a wider attention thanks to Ubuntu. 
However, the fact that Ubuntu sync their packages to our does not imply that 
we should also work out the bugs there.

Debian is my distribution of choice and I have enough to do to fix bugs in it. 
Pulling out my packages is fine but then not taking care of them and hope that 
I will fix them is a bit foolish, you can't have your cake and eat it too...
