In Ubuntu, we've applied the attached patch to achieve the following:
* Merge from debian testing. Remaining changes:
- debian/control: build-depend on python2.6-dev,
set XB-Python-Version to 2.6
We would prefer a patch that does not hardcode any Python versions. -- Jakub Wilk
