Package: camlidl
Severity: important

-- System Information:
Debian Release: 3.1
Architecture: i386 (i686)
Kernel: Linux 2.4.32-grsec+f6b+gr217+nfs+a32+fuse23+++opt+c6+gr2b-v6.192
Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968)

The camlidl package is missing a META file for use with findlib. camlidl
includes a library (com.cm(x)a) which must be linked with packages/libraries
using it. The lack of a META file both makes this more difficult and causes
problems with other packages dependent on camlidl, including mlpcap.

Version: 1.05-12

The package includes /usr/lib/ocaml/METAS/META.camlidl.
I didn't try to see which version introduced it (probably there since
early versions).

Regards,
