Agreed, I've changed it to a Recommends: ledit | rlwrap | cle.
(BTW, that alternatives are most likely to be incomplete and they are
unfortunate, but there is no virtual package Provides-ing line-editor
or something like that.)

Agreed as well, it is now a Suggests.
