./configure for ocaml programs?

Hi all,

I package mtasc and I'm wondering how other ocaml packages do the ocaml
equivalent of ./configure. Specifically, mtasc has some include files
that should be installed. Upstream expects that they will be installed
in the same dir as the mtasc binary, and uses the executable path
(from /proc/self/exe) to find the include files. In the last version I
just hardcoded /usr/share/mtasc, but I'd like to make a patch for
upstream so users can configure a default path at build time. Can anyone
refer me to a howto/example package that does this?
