Bug#451675: ocaml: OCaml support package: proposal
Package: ocaml
Version: 3.10.0-9
Followup-For: Bug #451675
Hello,
I just want to know what are the plan concerning this package.
Here are just a short list of proposal concerning this package:
- package name: ocaml-support, because it has a lot in common with
python-support
- VCS: svn+ssh://svn.debian.org/pkg-ocaml-maint/trunk/projects/
- Contains:
- CDBS for ocaml
- Policy
- ...
- Native debian package
I think the best plan is:
- create the package by doing a pure copy of what is inside ocaml
package
- upload and conflict with ocaml <= 3.10.0-11
- wait for the NEW queue
This will imply not being able to upload ocaml for the time the package
will be in NEW queue...
