3.10 transition and ulex/pxp
Hi guys,
I would say that the transition is going acceptably well, and I would
dare starting uploading to unstable. I however have a show-stopper: PXP.
The current problem with PXP is that, as other parts of its toolchain,
has not yet been ported to 3.10 and does not build properly with our
3.10-ulex, since ulex has been rebuilt with the new camlp4 and can't be
mixed with other syntax extension that have been built with camlp5.
The best solution that comes to my mind is to provide in Debian two
versions of ulex, the normal one (version 1.0, built with the new
camlp4) and a new one called "ulex08" (version 0.8, built with camlp5).
That would enable mixing ulex with syntax extension using camlp5 for
other packages as well.
What do you think? Better solutions are always welcome ...
Cheers.
