Got it, an example we already have is the ocaml package itself. Another more hypothetical example is a package that has a relationship with another package which is available only on native architectures (using [] dependencies). So the idea is to have a @OCamlNativeArchs@ in debian/control.in, automatically filled by CDBS when DEB_AUTO_UPDATE_DEBIAN_CONTROL is set (that variable is already provided by CDBS and used for other substitutions). I like it, but implementing it is not easy due to the non-extensible way of filling debian/control.in actually implemented in CDBS.
