My stand on this is binNMUs all oif them, and then hand-fix all those which
FTBFS. But i have not followed this transition, so i can't really help you
there.

Maybe you could just kick all traces of 3.09.1 from the archive, and then
binNMU all those who are depending on them or something ? That should do it,
and you are maybe better armed than us to know about this.

The 3.09.2 upgrade is a bug fix upgrade, so altough ABI may be broken in some
case, there should be no major API changes, and thus all packages could have
been binNMUed.
