Package: libdbi-ocaml-dev
Version: 0.9.9-2
Severity: normal

The META shipped with ocamldbi is almost useless, it doesn't contain any
"archive" lines and has an erroneous "name" entry. As a consequence
compiling against ocamldbi in debian is possible only manually
specifying cmas/cmos.

Attached you will find a new META file for ocamldbi which provides a
"dbi" findlib package which could be used for using function defined
directly in the Dbi module (e.g. Dbi.sdebug) and several dbi.<backend>
package for each Dbi_<backend> module.

So for example you can compile using mysql as follows:

  ocamlfind ocamlc -package dbi.mysql -c foo.ml

Could you please include it in the ocamldbi package and upload with
urgency "high"? I think is pretty important to have this fix in sarge.
If you're busy I could make the upload as well.

Cheers.
