Ok, i have made the first upload to experimental, which will need NEW as
usual, and asked the release team on advice on the situation, but i feel we
should go ahead and upload to unstable unless we hear otherwise either from
upstream or the release team. The advantage of uploading to experimental is
that we won't need another NEW handling later on, except if there will be a
3.09.1.

So, in the meantime, what all should do is rebuild their packages and upload
to experimental, and eventually make binary uploads for x86 to experimental,
as i think the experimental autobuilders are fucked some.

Ok, i will follow the rest of the work from afar, i don't really have the time
to do migration management as i did in the paste, so someone showing up and
doing it would be welcome.

Also, notice that with the etch freeze being scheduled for summer 2006, and
the release for december or so, we will ship etch with some 3.09 point
release.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
