I rather prefer to wait at least for ocaml 3.08.3-7 to enter testing (it just need to be rebuilt on hppa and a 7 days of delay, up to glibc of course ...). While we are at it I also think is the right moment to start changing packages to use dh_ocaml (if noone objects of course). Since we will need to rebuild a lot of packages it would be a good moment to make also that change. The week delay will give us time to ask JoeyH to include dh_ocaml in the next release of debhelper and have it ready. May I go for it and ask JoeyH for the inclusion?
