I can try to have a look at it today. > However, I'm wondering whether librpc-ocaml-dev is missing a dependency > : the /usr/lib/ocaml/3.08.3/rpc/META file says that it requires «unix» Don't know, Sven, you're the camlrpc maintainer, am I wrong? > More generally, couldn't we imagine a semi-automatic dependency checker, I'm working on dh_ocaml which approach this issue from another point of view: let's look at all the .cmo/.cma shipped by a package and find out package dependencies looking them up in a system registry. This approach will work no matter if the package uses findlib or not. Still, a script which automatically tries a #require "name" would be good to test if dynamic loading works properly.
