I found the "autoscale does not work" problem is caused by my
configuration. Removing ".advirc", the problem is gone. (I forget I
set -geometry option in ".advirc") Sorry for the confusion.
Testing without this .advirc, I have the following results.

Here, my experience disargree to you. j, k work as page-movement, not
page-up/down.
