Bug#245847: scale and autoscale don't work with this new fix!

Hello advi authors, ...

We have this bug for which i had a patch which broke text resizing and i
backed up again, but there seems to be other strange behavior surrunding this,
see the end of this mail for details. Would be nice to know what is the
intented behavior on this one as what i see doesn't agree with the
documentation.

Ok, closing then. I was not able to test h or l, since apparently advi was
autoscaling to the size of the window. Don't know why, since other said this
was broken.

The man page should show them. It seems the option works here though (latest
unstable, metacity and gnome 2.8 stuff), so maybe it is something that depends
on the windows manager or something.

I did some playing though, and i see the following.

With and without the -noautoscale, i can > and < resize both the window and the text.

With the -noautoscale, resizing the window doesn't resize the text. Without
it, it autoresizes it.

With the -noautoscale option, i can then move the page around with
control + left mouse button, so page movement kinda works.

but the h,j,l,k keys don't work as expected, j and k seeming to work as
page-up and page-down, and going to the next/previous page. I don't know if
this is per design, or a bug.

Mmm, after all, i will let this bug open, and CC advi-bug, let's see what the
upstream authors think about that.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
