hppa and ia64 build problems for ocaml related packages ...

Hello,

As part of the preparation of ocaml for sarge, we are faced with a few
problems that you can help us resolve.

The first concerns mlgmp and ocamlcreal on hppa :

mlgmp is marked as not present for hppa :

out of date on hppa: libgmp-ocaml, libgmp-ocaml-dev (from 20021123-3)

but has been built on july 31 :

    Sat 31 Jul 2004 13:01: maybe-successful

  not uploaded though.

This is a problem, because ocamlcreal build-depends on mlgmp :

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
      libgmp-ocaml-dev: Depends: libgmp-ocaml (= 20021123-3) but it is not
      going to be installed

To solve this, uploading the mlgmp package (or even rebuilding and then
uploading maybe) and rescheduling ocamlcreal would solve this testing bubble.

The second problem is cameleon, which failed to build on ia64 because of :

  convert main_window.jpg main_window.eps
  make[2]: *** [main_window.eps] Bus error

This is a bus error during the launching of the convert utility, which is part
of imagemagick. I have no idea what can be wrong here, but a Bus error seems
like a pretty bad problem.

Could you help us with those problems, since it seems that these three builds
are the last ones that are blocking ocaml from entering testing by itself.
Well, Steve Langasek did force ocaml anyway, but it would be nice if these
issues would be solved.

Friendly,

Sven Luther
