My point is not about hardcoding the ocaml version in the source 
package; the problem is the declared runtime dependencies of 
libounit-ocaml-dev.
Since there is no binary compatibility from one ocaml version to the 
next one, the libounit-ocaml-dev binary package built with ocaml 3.08 
will not work with ocaml 3.07, and thus should not enter testing before 
the new ocaml version.
Moreover, libounit-ocaml-dev_1.0.0-3 installs in /usr/lib/ocaml/3.08, so 
even if it was binary compatible with ocaml-3.07, it wouldn't 
be usable.
