You're right, the package is definitely out of date. OTOH the policy regarding this package hasn't been defined yet. It's surely not the case to add to its dependencies _all_ ocaml libraries since they are actually quite a lot. It would be reasonable to define a subset of ocaml libraries as "core libraries" and add them as dependencies of this meta package. I'm Cc-ing also the debian-ocaml-maint mailing list since I've already expressing in the past my unwillingness to work on this package anymore. If someone is willing to have a look at how to improve it fine: he can inject it on the alioth svn and upload it as a debian-ocaml-maint package. Otherwise I will formally orphan it soon.
