The Great Mutt Revelation [Re: One more idea]

(Sylvain, this is not only directed to you but
 you asked for it ;-)

Bothers in arms,

I've decided it was time to reveal everything about the
Mutt usage with mailing lists. Bear in mind this is a
great power I'm going to share with you.
After reading this message, you'll be able to avoid
CC'ing on reply in mailing lists.

In you .muttrc, register lists with the "subscribe"
command, like this:

-=-=-=-=-=-

subscribe debian-french@lists.debian.org
subscribe debian-devel@lists.debian.org
subscribe debian-user-french@lists.debian.org # <- where you may hear from Mariano

-=-=-=-=-=-

Then, whenever you receive a mail from those lists, you can
use 'l' or 'L' to reply; it only keeps the list address in
the To: field and set up Mail-Followup-To properly.

Please note that you'll see the sender's address displayed
and not the list address, which is what you want.

More details at:

http://www.mutt.org/doc/manual/manual-3.html#lists

Now, the lesson is over. Please pratice!

Good night. :-)
