BTW, Xavier just announced an official patch which is available here:

could you please try and use this one (assuming that it's different from
the one we were already using ...)?

He also told that if this patch is going to work he will change the
distributed ocaml tarball including it. This is probably going to be a
problem because we can't have two different .orig.tar.gz for ocaml in
the archive ...

Maybe we can keep on using the current .orig.tar.gz with the patch in
the debian/patches directory?
