Hello all,

I see you are talking about me ;->

The mldonkey pacakge is ready, he is lintian clean and debconfized. I am
not sure of his quality and wait for my sponsor to check it ( ie Jerome
).

I have restricted the numbre of people that have access to this package
for very simple reason : i need direct return on this package. One
people was Goswin ( unreachable ), Two were DD and Four was friend of
mine i see everyday. They use debian and help me to debug the package.

The problem with this package : documentation is big ( especially
manpage ). That the main reason why it takes me time to do release ( as
of today we have reached 2.4.3 and my package ( from tuesday ) is 2.4.2
).

I am not yet a DD but i hope to be one someday ( mldonkey will be my
sponsorised package to enter debian, if i can prove my worth ). I think
jerome, if he has time, will be perfect to sponsorize me ( if Stefano
want to do so, i have no problem ). I am used of sponsor /
comaintainership ( as i sent to Jerome :
http://packages.qa.debian.org/m/mtink.html ). But my experience with
this package was not very good, as it is only a sort of toy package for
me. MLDonkey is a more day to day use for me.

Regard
Sylvain LE GALL

ps : concerning upload to debian, i prefer to be sure of the quality of
the 1st version of mldonkey to enter unstable, because, first user will
judge mldonkey on this first package ( if i fail, i will lose all
credibility for this package ).
