I don't believe this is a solution, what i object to is not so much the
form that the sources take, but that they are used all the same.

If you check the cameleon build log, you will see that a lot of stuff in
the ocaml sources is rebuilt (rebuilt because it was already built with
the ocaml package) and that there may be some configuration problems.

I believe, if some pieces are needed, then we should ship the already
built pieces, not the whole sources, and we should ship the exact
pieces, not the whole stuff.

Mmm, yes, there is the problem of the lintian warnings.

No problem, the only thing you don't learn from are the ones you don't
say, and also, as you will see if you become a debian developper, i find
(and hope it will continue such) that the debian-ocameler comunity is a
much more convivial bunch than some other debian folk, which are quicker
to anger.

Hint, try to keep a log, either by using script or by redirecting the
output.
