Which is subjective for me:
- on the upstream side, everything he's doing is usefull
- on the maintainer side, not using some parts of a package
does not mean they are useless for users ...
Who's to decide what users don't need? :-)

I've always seen the policy as a kind of FAQ where you can
find what to do in some corner cases. But I'm not a policy-man :-)
