Hi,

I'd like to apply to become a Debian Maintainer.

I'm not certain exactly when I first started using Debian, but I remember when
potato seemed exciting and new, so it must be close to a decade ago now.

I currently maintain the xapian-bindings, xapian-core, and xapian-omega
Debian packages, originally sponsored by Wookey, and more recently by Enrico
Zini.

Following the procedure from http://wiki.debian.org/Maintainers I am happy to
agree to:

 * the social contract (version 1.1): http://www.debian.org/social_contract

 * the DFSG (version 1.1): http://www.debian.org/social_contract#guidelines

 * the Debian Machine Usage Policies (version 1.1.1):
   http://www.debian.org/devel/dmup
