Hi all, [Please CC myself and Ryan on any replies] Finnix (one of our derivatives) recently implemented a new website for listing the available mirrors and their status: http://mirrors.finnix.org/ It includes a map of mirror locations based on GeoIP and OpenStreetMap as well as update frequency information and good/bad status. The backend code is MySQL and PHP so it would not be immediately useful on the Debian website since ours is static HTML generated from WML, but perhaps the general idea, presentation, simplicity and the map of mirrors would be useful to add to the Debian mirrors lists. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
