apt-get update freezes

Hello,

I've just installed a new debian (woody) system on MIPS32,
with root filesystem by NFS.

But apt-get has a weird behaviour:

  # apt-get update
  Reading Package Lists... 0%

and then it freezes. Not really, it uses 98% of CPU (and more), and
seems to never complete.

First case, I had one apt source, and it was the same if there is no
apt source...

I've tried sarge apt-get, same behaviour.

When recompiling apt-get, when I stop apt-get, it is on line 249 of
contrib/mmap.c, and I can't make any 'nexti'/'stepi'. The cpu goes to
100% and a new break shows PC at same place.

Does anyone can help me ?

Thanks
Cyprien
