Unexpected exception / kernel panic

Hi,
I have been successfully using debian/mips on SGI Indy (R4400, 133MHz,
64MB RAM) for several months. Installation was based on the unstable
distribution.
Yesterday I tried to upgrade my system (using dselect). Everything
finished fine, but after reboot I got:
...GIO Timeout Interrupt...
...Unhandled exception...
... KERNEL PANIC

System is unable to boot! What shell I do? How to restore the system?
Is it bug or my fault?

Thanks,
Artur
