An empty value for the repacksuffix is not a good idea, in your case
repacksuffix=+dfsg is appropriate. When only auto cleaned build
artifacts are excluded for example, repacksuffix=+ds is more appropriate.
uscan will only apped the repacksuffix if it actually excluded files
from the repacked upstream tarball. uscan reports the number of files
it excluded, if that's 0 the repacksuffix isn't used.
