Hi,

I guess (without having it confirmed) that your package has a "native"
version (i.e. without a "dash").  For 3.0 (quilt) packages your package
must have a non-native version (e.g. 1.0.1-1).  See also §5.6.12 of the
Debian Policy Manual for more info[1].
