This GNOME panel applet shows status of hard disk protection for
ThinkPad laptops.

HDAPS is a system monitoring notebook motion through integrated
accelerometer which allows hdapsd daemon to monitor suspicious
situations and immediately park disk heads to avoid surface scratch
and data lossage.
