Re: [RFC] Kernel module and dpkg-divert

Well, in fact you can read this mail as a RFH ;-)

Adam Cécile (Le_Vert) a écrit :
Hi mentors,

I have prepared a fuse package update that re-introduce fuse-source package. It's really needed because apps like ntfs-3 require latest fuse kernel module for some specific features.

I looked at ipw2x00 packages to make mine, however dpkg fails to install fuse-module-xxx because it overwrites fuse.ko shipped with kernel package. If you looked at preinst script, fuse.ko is diverted before installation buit dpkg fails. It works fine with ipw2x00 packages.

Thanks in advance, for your help!

Regards, Adam.
