Some comments:
- xnee is already in Debian and has a maintainer. There are no RFA or
O bugs either.
- you didn't preserve the debian/changelog history from the existing
xnee package
- debian/README.Debian can be removed
- the section in debian/control is wrong, please read policy for a
list of sections
- you may want to consider adding a Homepage
(http://www.gnu.org/software/xnee/) to the description
- the debian/copyright needs to be more specific. please copy the
copyright information and licence blurbs from the source:

- you may want to be consider a more specific url to the downloads in
