First, yout package is not building properly. It needs python on Build-Depends.
After adding python, it builds OK. Running linda and lintian I've got
no warnings or errors on the final package.

Also, with python on Build-Depends it's not necessary to have a
linda-overrides with "no-build-dep-python", right?

says something about python and Build-Depends.
