Fourth RFS: cnet, a network simulator
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
this is the fourth RFS for my cnet package. It's a graphical
network simulator program, intended mainly for undergraduate
students of telecommunications networks protocols.
It works perfectly, and we have heavily tested it witch our
students (and we ancourage them to install Debian at your
homes too ;)) in our computers at Telecommunications
School in Valladolid, Spain.
Next are the description and location of my package.
Short Description: A X11 TclTK based network simulator program
Cnet allows you to simulate data link layer network protocols, by
programming it in C language. Also, you specify the topology of
the simulated network.
Cnet compiles your source and dinamically links it, and the
simulation begins. It is a graphical program, so you cand view
your simulated packes travelling in a virtual network environment.
Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
