ucf and /dev/tty (was Re: preferred method for coexistence of debconf- and manual parts in conffiles?)

Unfortunately, that isn't right either.  hinfo has a really ugly hack in
postinst to save a copy of stdin if it has a chance, and only use
/dev/tty if debconf didn't give postinst a chance at stdin first.  This
should check for the availability of /dev/tty before using it, but
the only situation I came upon that did that was dpkg-reconfigure.
