lintian problem

I'm updating the build depends in some of my packages, along with the
standards version to bring them current with debian policy, and I get
this error.
Now running lintian...
W: libwww-curl-perl source: newer-standards-version 3.6.0
Finished running lintian.
What I don't understand, is that I have 3.6.0 listed in the control file
as the current standards version. Could this be a lintian bug? or am I
missing something.
