Unfortunately, things are not so simple so #1127425 was reported with
"serious" severity.
Fortunately, while revewing the CI logs I noticed a SIGABRT on i386
with a proper backtrace [1]. I prepared 2.2.5-18 which fixes the bug
(I hope) and restores the original autopkgtest, removing all
problematic -dbgsym dependencies. It passes the Salsa CI, which
failed reliably before if not run from GDB.
Could you (or some other DD) please review and eventually upload?
