While I forwarded this bug I think the development is stalled and I do
not expect things changing from upstream side.  For this very reason I
wanted to close the Debian bug to reduce noise in BTS by simply
disabling LTO explicitly.  I did not (yet) touched packages where it
is probably possible to really fix the issue.  I also noticed that the
vast majority of the bugs filed can be done by refreshing the symbols
files of libraries (which usually needs to be done with the next
gcc version anyway).
