Re: Bug#656469: ITP: eegdev -- biosignal acquisition device library

Hi Andreas

Actually now I am a little bit lost about about what are the purposes of
the task metapackages and how they should be defined (I am relatively
new to Debian development: only few months). I think I'd better read
http://blends.alioth.debian.org/blends/ pages before giving propositions.

But in the meantime, I can answer to few points raised:

I prefer to read more about blends to avoid replying nonsense.

Actually the name of the package will be libeegdev-dev: the first dev
part refers to device... But in a certain sense eegdev is slightly
misleading since the library can be used for other type of acquisition
device (EMG, ECG, NIRS...)

Yes I've just subscribed to it.

Argh! I don't know! I would say Suggests.

Cheers,
