Re: PD Drug DB Helpful Link

Hi Andreas and Carlos, all,

Carlos' initial suggestion was my first reaction, too. That is, just
have them available. However, I've been thinking about it and some of
the tables are just words, such as routing (e.g. "INTRASINAL") and
classifications (e.g. "TETRACYCLINES"). If this kind of data were
available as a file whose language is an attribute
(e.g. "routes-en.dat"), then perhaps it could be multi-linugaul (or we
could set it up so that adding a new language is not difficult).

I wrote the FDA and asked if we may use it but have not heard from
them yet.

I was just wondering how we should go about implementing it. I have
not looked at it in a while. The page, IIRC, is pretty vague in
specifications.

Do you think a library would be proper with callable routines (such as
a search function), or do you mean header files and data in a db
format?
