Engrampa not opening password protected compressed files

Good morning,

Excuse my poor English .

I work with Debian Testing. In february this year, when 7zip updated version in Debian Testing, Engrampa stop opening any compressed file that have a password protected document. I checked that gnome fileroller also stop working.

Engrampa and 7zip developers fixed this issue in february. The conversation is here:

  https://github.com/mate-desktop/engrampa/issues/510

and the patch for the problem is here:

https://github.com/mate-desktop/engrampa/pull/513/commits/7c96bb400bea73596b80f76b04310f5243a6a550

But seven months from the fix in the source code, Engrampa 1.26 in Debian testing still doesn't open password protected files, and nobody knows when Engrampa 1.28 is entering testing.

I still download Engrampa source code, apply the patch and compile, but for most of Debian Mate users I think it's easier if the maintaners can apply the patch to the actual engrampa in debian testing.

Thanks
