Package: mate-desktop-environment Version: 1.26.0+1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I have selected dolphin as my prefered file manager, but that value is not passed to applications such as browsers or other appliations which will "load a folder" upon a click. This is what the settings show: $ xdg-mime query default inode/directory org.kde.dolphin.desktop But regardless of the browser as an example, if I display the download page and click on 'show in folder,' caja opens. This simply should not be. And this has be going on for a while. It may have existed in bullseye, but it is clearly happening in bookworm. *** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.1 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-11-amd64 (SMP w/28 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_PH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_PH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_PH:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages mate-desktop-environment depends on: ii mate-desktop-environment-core 1.26.0+1 Versions of packages mate-desktop-environment recommends: ii atril 1.26.0-2+b1 ii desktop-base 12.0.6+nmu1~deb12u1 ii engrampa 1.26.0-1 ii eom 1.26.0-2 ii ffmpegthumbnailer 2.2.2+git20220218+dfsg-1+b1 ii libcanberra-pulse 0.30-10 ii mate-applet-brisk-menu 0.6.2-2 ii mate-applets 1.26.1-1 ii mate-backgrounds 1.26.0-1 ii mate-calc 1.26.0-1 ii mate-media 1.26.0-2 ii mate-notification-daemon 1.26.0-1 ii mate-power-manager 1.26.0-2+deb12u1 ii mate-screensaver 1.26.1-1 ii mate-system-monitor 1.26.0-1 ii mate-user-guide 1.26.0-1 ii mate-utils 1.26.0-1 ii pluma 1.26.0-1 Versions of packages mate-desktop-environment suggests: ii bsd-mailx [mail-reader] 8.1.2-0.20220412cvs-1 ii kmail [mail-reader] 4:22.12.3-1 ii mate-desktop-environment-extras 1.26.0+1 ii network-manager-gnome 1.30.0-2 pn x-www-browser | firefox <none> -- no debconf information
