LTS Meeting Notes



Hello everyone,

Here are the notes from today's LTS meeting.

Agenda:
- Roll call

- Action item review: (Roberto)
  + Action: (carried over from last month) Review packages which may be
    subject to dist-upgrade regressions, close the associated ML thread,
    and create a plan for dealing with the packages that have been
    identified
    * Assignee: Roberto & Santiago
    * Result: OBE - became "Add the bullseye-related packages to dla-needed"
  + Action: (carried over from last month) Follow-up to ML and Andreas
    concerning upload of nvidia-graphics-drivers
    * Assignee: Santiago & Tobi
    * Result: ping sent, however did not get a response.
  + Action: Start a discussion about debian-security-support being
    installed by default
    * Assignee: jbicha
    * Result: (utkarsh, 18th Dec) utkarsh to speak with Holger; sorry,
      didn't make much progress there. I'll make sure something happens
      by EOM. 
  + Action: Add the bullseye-related packages to dla-needed
    * Assignee: rouca and utkarsh2102

- 2025 YTD:
  + Found 421 DLAs fixing 4554 CVEs
  + Found 322 ELAs fixing 3302 CVEs
- Debusine: still no regression testing, but close
- AOB
  + ca-certificates:
    * encountering issues with backporting
    * rouca has been in contact w/ jcristau (maintainer), but so far no movement
- Next meeting: 2026-01-22 14:00 UTC [Location: #debian-lts on IRC]
