*sigh*, ofc you should _not_ look into an update for Buster without really understanding
the problem. For that you'd need to backport the patch which allows to use the new
firmware to 4.19 and get it accepted into the 4.19.x LTS series.

Of course. My suggestion is in fact to ignore these issues for LTS. I just wanted to know whether you as maintainers would have a problem with an update. And then of course by someone that understand what he/she is doing.
I have started a separate email thread on the LTS list on whether ignoring the issues are acceptable or not.
